the wild ones

Unlike my usual posts of a neutral palette, I do like to play with other colours and textures into my wardrobe. Like this Tularosa textural coat, it makes this OOTD a vintage-inspired look and for the wild at heart. I’ve got all kinds of textures at play here – from shaggy faux fur to silk, leather, denim, and all the way down to the furry suede strap sandals. How to wear a coat with an array of colours? I’ve coordinated the look according to the colours on the coat (pink, white, and blue). I like to think that this look brings out my fun and wild side of me, which you won’t see so often from the super busy life I have.

With summer in full swing, we’ve been stocking up all of our warm weather style staples: sunhats, sandals, swimsuits, and sunnies to name a few. But, we can’t forget one of the most important summertime essentials… the swimsuit cover-up. It’s Sunday Funday! This is the only time in the week I have the entire day to do anything I want, but I spend most of the day light hours shooting around the city and creating content just for you. I love it. So in this post, I went around and about Soho and ventured into the Whitney Museum of American Art through to the meat packing district. Concidentally my new black watch coordinated so well with my entire ensemble – colours and textures just all work out, but the rain. The jacket, top and pants are old tresures but you can see that you don’t need to buy new ones to make a look work altogether.
