Happy New Year everyone.

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who dined with us over the last few months since we reopened. The response has been phenomenal and it has been amazing to see the restaurant buzzing and people enjoying the Oak & Apple experience once again.

After a very busy festive period and given the current COVID situation, we'll be downing tools and taking a well earned break over the next few weeks and refocusing as we plan ahead for our exciting new Spring menu.

Tuesday 28th Dec to Saturday 1st Jan - 4pm to 8pm (last orders 7pm)

We just wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you 🙏 to everyone who called into Oak & Apple over the weekend and made it one to remember.

It was amazing to be back in action again doing what we love and to see so many friendly faces 😊, both old and new, returning to the restaurant. Here's to many more! 💯🙌

We're beyond excited to announce the return of Oak & Apple, which will be opening its doors again from Friday 1st October.

Enjoy fabulous small plates of food that are big on flavour and showcase stunning local produce - perfect for sharing with your other half or with a group. And, we've got some fantastic wines and luxurious cocktails lined up to accompany them.🍷🍸

All government guidelines will be adhered to. So, in order to take a seat, all guests dining with us will be required to provide their Digital Covid Cert or HSE Vaccination Card along with a photo I.D.

The lead member of each group will be required to provide contact tracing details and all guests must wear face masks when not seated.

We strongly recommend reserving a table in advance of your arrival to avoid disappointment.

That said, we are very happy to welcome walk-ins as and when we have availability.

We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to work in Oak & Apple, Adare. We are a small plates restaurant focusing on local and Irish ingredients plated in a contemporary Irish style.

A strong work ethic and the ability to develop and lead the team while continuing to develop the menu is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will work to continuously develop the food offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef to further their career.

The Ideal Candidate will:
-Have previous experience as a Head Chef
-Experience & knowledge of implementing & monitoring HACCP procedures
-Work to Gross Profit, sales & wages targets
-Continuously up skill kitchen staff & mentor junior chefs
-A good knowledge of current culinary trends and Irish produce
-An outgoing individual who enjoys working as part of a team
-A hands-on leader

Duties:
-Co-ordinate rosters
-Manage & control a very busy kitchen
-Menu planning & ex*****on
-Training of junior staff
-Constant upkeep of HACCP within kitchen
-Purchasing & stock control.
-Waste management

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
