Since Christmas, I haven't created a large display cake for our shop window. Sometimes the day-to-day work of running a café and cake studio leaves little time for special projects like that.

Today, however, a young customer came in and handed me his own drawing of a cake design. ❤️

I have to admit, I was impressed. This colourful tower topped with an Irish flag immediately caught my attention and reminded me how wonderful children's imagination can be.

Who knows... maybe this drawing will become the inspiration for the next display cake in our window?

Important update from Cake Me Away☕️

​Dear Customers,

​We have two important updates for you today—one about exciting changes, and one about a temporary water issue.

​🛠 A little renovation for your comfort
We are improving for you! We’ve started a small renovation in the side area of our cafe. We’re doing this to create more seating and make your visits even more comfortable. Because of this, the side section will be closed until the weekend. Don't worry though—everything will be ready by the weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our new, more spacious area!
​💧 Water outage
Unfortunately, we are also dealing with a sudden water outage today, which is causing some difficulties in the cafe. We are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience! We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as everything is fixed and running smoothly.
​🍰 We’re still open for treats!
Despite the water issue, we are still here to sweeten your day. Our delicious cakes are waiting for you in the display case!
