Galway is 65 years in business. Started by Tom Walsh, originally from Headford, Co. Galway, in 1953, it is now owned and operated by his son, Cathal and wife Joan.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend Una Walsh.

Una was an incredible woman who touched the lives of so many. She will be remembered with great love and affection by everyone whose path she crossed. She will be deeply missed but her memory continues to live on through our family and the bakery she helped create. May she rest in peace ❤️🪽

Una will be reposing in The Chapel of Rest, Ballyconneely on Friday July 3rd from 4pm to 7pm. Arriving in St. Joseph’s Church, Clifden on Saturday July 4th at 11.30am. Burial in Ardbear Cemetery afterwards.

Walsh’s will be closed on Saturday July 4th.
