This Famous Pub in Donegal is nestled at the foothills of the Blue Stack Mountains, on the Banks of the Lowerymore River between Ballybofey and Donegal Town. Biddy's was originally an Inn, dating back to the 18th century, a time when the Coach was the main form of transport, here was a stopping point, where horses were rested, and travellers relaxed before the next stage of their long and tiring journey through the Gap.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ted to Biddy's.

Ted worked with Arco Kitchens and travelled throughout Donegal regularly during the late 1970s and 1980s. During those years, Biddy's was one of his regular stops.

Nearly 50 years later, Ted returned to Biddy's, he was amazed at how much the pub changed over the years. He fondly recalled the late Rose Callaghan, who ran the pub at the time with such warmth and kindness.

Seeing how Biddy's has evolved over the decades while still holding onto its welcoming atmosphere brought back many happy memories of Ted's time working across Donegal.

It's people like Ted who makes biddy's what it is today. It's more than the pints we pour, it's about the stories we share, the memories we create, and the connections that span generations.
