Just back from west Cork and the Poc Fada festivals and keeping the music lively, Ispiní na hÉireann visit the Dublin parish to@launch their newest recording tonight at 7.00pm. The ‘Rocky Road to Dublin’ has been well travelled lately and this featured on the RTÉ Podcast ‘What we were Like’, which is available on Spotify. Anyway on the corner of Capel Street and Bolton Street in Bar Anam, tonight, if you got lucky and have one of the free tickets, you can enjoy the new recording and many other well rehearsed tracks. See you there

Edwina Guckian, dancer and show producer, for ‘Devil in the Dancehall’ put on a great show in the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre, in Naul, Co. Dublin, last Saturday night. Wonderful night of dance, displays of footwork, music with the Galton Ceilí Band, and drama with Leitrim’s own Seamus O’Rourke. So glad I was there to witness this super show. Well worth the visit and energy involved
