☀️🍦 ” Some heat out there wha?”🫠Nothing is more important to us at The Old Barracks than the welfare of our amazing team!! we will be closing early today at 3pm as we just feel it’s too hot for us to operate at our best, and we think we will be much more productive at the beach instead!!😂
So RAF, Dani and Kitchen crew are bringing the Buckets and spades 🏖️🏝️Fiona, Scott and gang are bringing the ice pops!!! 👙🩳See you tomorrow…thanks for understanding.x

❤️Happy Father’s day tomorrow folks!! 🤗 These special men who keep showing up and support us through thick and thin , the Dads who aren’t here any more but set us on our way and we remember every day, the Moms who are Dads and All the new Dads!! Let’s celebrate them!!❤️🍺🥩

☀️🕶️❤️Local Legend Kevin was the first to enjoy our new High Table in the Sunshine in our decked area at The Old Barracks….if it’s a freshly prepared Salad or Grab and go from our shop, a few glasses of Vino with the girls, Iced Coffees & Teas, or a tan top up you require, we have it all at The Old Barracks Athenry….

Due to continued strong demand for our Guest Accommodation, we are expanding the team! Ideally we are looking for an experienced person who will also have Sholder Season and winter availability to join our house keeping department. Typical day 10am to 3pm (can vary depending on season etc) must have weekend availability….full training provided and an experienced team in place…😊

🌻☀️🍋A Little taste of Summer here at The Old Barracks in Athenry!! New menus launched today, and featured here is Rafs stunning new “Falafel Gyros Salad Bowl” 😋
We love a great Irish brand here at the Old Barracks and are delighted to now stock Kahuna Pops in our “To-Go” shop, like our new menus, these popsicles pack a whole lot of flavour!❤️
We are also delighted to stock “Kombucha Na Dalaigh” from County Donegal in 3 refreshing flavours in both our restaurant & shop!! 🍹
Agnes and her team of amazing Pastry artists have also tweaked our cake and dessert offering and the below Lemon Cheesecake is a must for any summer BBQ or dinner party !!

We are open all day Saturday and again on Monday, serving the very best to our Customers and friends in Athenry and East Galway….However as is tradition here, we are closed on Easter Sunday to allow our incredible teams celebrate Easter with their families….### We are looking forward to some Chocolates & Family time before the busy season ahead ….. ❤️
