🍦 It's Ice Cream Funday Week! 🍦

From 15th–21st June, Deenagh Lodge Tearooms is proud to be taking part in Ice Cream Fundays Week.

We're asking everyone to call in this week, buy an ice cream, and help us celebrate while raising awareness and supporting people with Down Syndrome. Our young adults would love to see you popping in to support DSK! 💜

We'll also have donation buckets available throughout the tearooms all week. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us keep doing things like this !!!

So whether you're out for a walk, passing by, or simply looking for an excuse to enjoy a sweet treat, call in, buy an ice cream, and help us make a difference! 🍦

2 scholarship positions

The Bernard Brosnan Work Experience Scholarship Programme offers young adults with Down syndrome the opportunity to learn, grow and shine in a real workplace environment at Deenagh Lodge Tearooms.

Participants build confidence, independence and practical employment skills while working as part of a supportive team in the beautiful surroundings of Killarney National Park. Through hands-on experience, new friendships and meaningful responsibilities, the programme helps participants discover their strengths and take important steps towards future employment and greater independence

Huge thanks to these young superstars — Karen, Clodagh and Kate pictured here with our team at Deenagh. These lovely young girls helped raise funds for DSK by selling yummy treats before the recent Kerry v Donegal match outside Fitzgerald Stadium !

It’s great to see our new roof going up! 🏠The thatching makes our building unique – it’s not something you see every day. We can’t wait to welcome back all our lovely regulars next year, and hopefully meet some new faces too!
