Today we celebrate our Lady Captain, Celia McGee, as she hosts her Lady Captain’s Day at Narin & Portnoo Links. ⛳️

The first week of July brought another excellent run of competition golf to the Links, from our Wednesday Open through to the St. Conal’s N.S. Classic and the weekend Stablefords.

Yesterday we welcomed Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh) to Narin & Portnoo Links for our Youth Club match. ⛳️

Played in great spirit, it was another fantastic afternoon of junior golf, with both teams producing some excellent golf throughout the day. We were delighted to come away with a 2½–½ victory.

A sincere thank you to everyone from Murvagh for a competitive and enjoyable fixture. We now look forward to tomorrow’s return leg at Murvagh, where another close contest awaits.

Well done to all of our young players for representing the club so brilliantly. Best of luck to the team tomorrow! ⛳️

We are pleased to announce that our PGA Professional Seamus Clinton will be hosting a second phase of summer group coaching open to all Ladies and Juniors which starts on Wednesday 8th of July.

The program will run for a six-lesson series and will take place at Narin & Portnoo Links every Wednesday. Places are limited and to book you must register online in your preferred time slot.

Junior Group 1 – 4pm to 5pm
Junior Group 2 – 5pm to 6pm
Ladies Group 1 – 6pm to 7pm
Ladies Group 2 – 7pm to 8pm

Last night we celebrated the conclusion of our Ladies Get Into Golf programme with PGA Professional Seamus Clinton. ⛳️

Over the past six weeks, the group has embraced the game, built confidence and, perhaps most importantly, enjoyed plenty of laughs and new friendships along the way.

Pictured are some of the ladies who took part in the programme and received their certificates of completion. We hope this is just the beginning of many enjoyable rounds and memorable days on the Links.

A sincere thank you to Seamus for his guidance and encouragement throughout, and congratulations to everyone who took part.

It’s that time of year again. ⛳️

The St. Conal’s N.S. Golf Classic returns to Narin & Portnoo Links next Friday, 3rd July, and there are still a few team spaces remaining.

Join us for a great day on the Links while supporting St. Conal’s National School, Narin. Teams of four are €160, with ladies and gents both welcome.

A fantastic week on the Links, with strong entries across our Wednesday Open, Saturday Stableford and Donegal Tool Hire Sunday Stableford.

Congratulations to all of our prize winners, and especially to John Ban Gallagher, David Bowman and Kevin Gilgunn on their victories.

The weekend brought some beautiful golfing weather, and thankfully it looks set to continue. With sunshine here today, we’re looking forward to another busy week of Open competitions on the course.
