Wilkinstown 5k ‘26 🏃🏼‍♀️🩷💦

What a day, what an event last Sunday!! Doughtys & Park Beo were proud to be the official hydration partner again this year 💦 Doughtys sponsored all of the race water hydration at the Community Centre and along the Greenway at Park Beo. Much needed refreshment on a hot sunny Sunday 💧☀️

Massive well done to Yvonne Curtis and the event team for pulling off another incredible race whilst raising funds for Nobber Cancer Support and Wilkinstown Community Centre Ltd. Well done and Congratulations to everyone who participated 👏🏼🎖️

Thank you also to those who dropped by to Park Beo Outdoor Café and Doughtys Wilkinstown and beared with us to get through the queues. Another memorable weekend for our fab little village and community here in Wilkinstown! 😎

Come and join us for a social cycle on the Boyne to Lakelands Greenway, with a coffee and chat to finish back at Park Beo! ☕

Starting in Park Beo Greenway Hub in Wilkinstown, the first part will bring us to Nobber with the choice of then continuing to Whitewood Lake in Kilmainhamwood.

This is a fabulous opportunity to cycle along the scenic surrounding of the greenway in a relaxed and comfortable environment led by qualified bike ride leaders. All participants receive a puncture repair kit.

A very Happy Christmas from all of us here at Park Beo Greenway Hub 🛤️🥾🚴🏽✨

Thank you to each person who visited this year. We hope you’ve enjoyed getting out in nature whether it be for a walk, ride, skate, scoot, run, push, roll, cuppa, chat etc. Our hearts are full to see people out and about enjoying movement, freedom, calm and connection on the fabulous Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway. Thank you for choosing Park Beo as your base to park, stopover, rent bikes or pitstop. We look forward to welcoming you in 2026 along with Feel Good Bike Rent for lots more fun in the great outdoors. The greatest gift we can give nature is protection and nurture; thank you for respecting the amenity we’ve created and following the Leave No Trace Ireland principles 🌿

Park Beo will be open right through the festive season for you to use the Greenway. Just arrive and enjoy whilst leaving no trace 🚯 Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome once they are fully cleaned up after. Stick to our entrance and paths as the grass is muddy. We wonder will Santa bring any nice new wheels to the children?! 🎁🚲🛼 Remember, we’re now blessed with a 20km stretch of lovely smooth tarmac surface Greenway from Park Beo to Nobber and back! Keep left, pass on the right and have fun 🤗
