The silver moon begins to bow,
And slips beneath the ocean’s brow,
A quiet, pale, and fading dream,
Reflected in the morning stream.
But in the east, a golden spark,
Is shattering the lingering dark,
The sun ascends with sudden fire,
And wakes the dawn’s new choir.
A moment held in silent space,
