Whew - is it hot today and while we love the sunshine spare a thought for our kitchen superstars and front of house heros who are working in literal saunas , hot ovens , blazing grills 🥵

So lovely customers please be extra kind to your servers today - they are working under extreme heat to keep you fed and watered- a little patience goes a long way !

Local scouting reports confirm that following a high profile christening of Baby Paidi McLoughney, his thumprint to join the Shannon Rovers GAA Club has been accepted.
A spokeperson for Shannon Rovers confirmed that the Club did not want to risk losing this generational talent to other clubs as Baby Paidi arrived with a terrifyingly elite hurling pedigree.
His grandfather is the great Tipperary goalie Pat McLoughney and the Godfather Vincent Mulvihil also excels as a goalie for Shannon Rovers. The grandparents already have high expectations having confirmed that they have booked All Ireland tickets for 2046

We had a wonderful Picnic yesterday for a group of visitors who spent the day seeing what Lough Derg has to offer and after being out on the water with DERGLAKETOURS they enjoyed a picnic at Paddys Bar Terryglass

Larkin's Bar & Restaurant in Garrykennedy has claimed the top spot in a brand new ranking from 'The Times' which lists the '50 best pubs in Ireland for 2026'.
