Yup, still Kosher! (updated certificate)
It’s official! We are now FULL HALAV ISRAEL and Kosher under the supervision of Rabbinate Tel Aviv🙏🏼
Ever wonder why we became Kosher?
Two days after the Iron Swords War began Cafe Xoho reopened and started producing meals for soldiers, volunteers, and families in need. Many of our staff members had left the country and we were determined to preserve the jobs of any staff members that wanted to continue arriving to work. Doing good and finding purpose within such a disaster felt empowering and important. We called it the “Love Will Win Campaign”.
The only problem was that many groups could not accept our food without a Kosher certificate. We quickly set about starting the process of becoming Kosher. Not only did this promote a sense of unity, but it also widened our customer base and allowed many members of the surrounding community to start enjoying Cafe Xoho atter so many years.
Becoming Kosher has been all-in-all a very positive experience for the Cafe💛
