James Meadow Charles founded Lakeview Milkbar in 1930, making it the first of its kind in the world. From serving no more than 3 flavours of ice cream for 1 anna per scoop, Lakeview has co

me a long way in these past few decades. Now our menu lists more than 50 items and we have multiple outlets throughout the city but our ice creams still tastes the same as it did when we opened all those years ago. Lakeview Milkbar is inexplicably tied to the rich history of Bangalore. Its is where the old-timers come to reminisce and the young-ones come to ‘chill’. This piece of Bangalore’s legacy will continue to be Bangalore’s favourite hangout spot for many more years to come!
