This is a difficult post to write. We at Comic Art Cafe are closing shop. We'd like to thank all our patrons who made our cafe a great place to work in. Our family and friends for the frequent orders and wonderful reviews. We loved making our dishes for you! Thank you for the immense support of our small cafe and superhero sized ideas. It's been one of the best years of our lives. We hope to come back and open a bigger place as requested and this time with produce directly from our farm. Will update our farm's page details shortly.

"She first began translating Asterix in 1969, coming up with some of its best jokes and puns. In her version, Obelix’s small dog Idéfix became Dogmatix, and the druid Panoramix became Getafix. The Oxford Guide to Literature in English Translation describes her work on Asterix as ingenious and superbly recreated, displaying “the art of the translator at its best”.

Her prolific work introduced generations of English readers to writers as varied as Sigmund Freud, Franz Kafka and Cornelia Funke
