Excellent Laal Maas with Rice at, AamaGhati Resort Ranthambhore. YES ! ideally I always have it with Roti and add my two spoons of Desi Ghee on Top!, but here I was trying it out with boiled Basmati, and believe me it tasted divine....the Chef knew his Job well and turned it out just perfect for me......THANKS CHEF

Came across this ice cream parlour called Pabrai's, tucked in the heart of Chittranjan Park. In South Delhi. I had never heard about this brand so walked in and was pleasantly surprised at the exotic natural flavors on offer...They had Aromatic Gandhoraj Lebu, Yuumy Cheeku, Chunky Guava and Tamarind Sorbet...the latter two served with a spicy-chilli malsala topping which was a first ever ice-cream with masala experience for me...will definitely be returning for more soon!

Amritsari Delights.....tucked away in one of the the many alleys that lead to the Golden Temple is this hidden Jewel..... selling only Jalebis and Gulab Jamun..yes they use Desi ghee and you can taste it in their preparation....wah wah ...lovely taste, the Gulab Jamuns were super soft and flavourful

An Iconic Milestone requires An Iconic Drink....to add some sparkle to our wedding anniversary celebration 🥳🎉🎁 today, I opened this iconic bottle of KELT VSOP Cognac. Bottled to mark the very beginning of this new millennium in the year 2000 and aged in Oak barrels that were exposed to the rock & roll of the Ocean as they cruised around the globe aboard a Merchant Liner, lending it a very very unique character and feel. This gave this Cognac the privilege of further ageing at sea with its unique and multiple variations....loved it's deep and complex flavour in a cold Delhi Night , December

So yesterday evening it was a Group celebration of 30 years of friendship, from our days of working together at Malaysia Airlines, on suggestions from within the group we opted for Diggin at Bikaner House, wow we all just loved the ambience, the festive displays, the lights, we opted to sit out in the courtyard and the pedestal Heaters did a wonderful job. However the food was a mixed bag , we all loved the Bruschetta and the Thin Crust Pizzas, the pastas were at best average but the Lamb Burger, cold coffee with icecream and the cappuccino were absolute disasters, the burger was tasteless and the Lamb Pattie rubbery, the Cold coffee was actually room temperature, watery with Icecream that had ice crystals in it and not creamy at all....had to send it back for an overhaul , what came back was also just tolerable. The Cappuccino was room temperature or rather the courtyard temprature and we had requested Piping Hot! It was my first visit to Diggin , my daughter and her friends and some of my friends are regulars and love it...but my experience was a 50/50, wonder if it was the rush due to the festivities ....yes the staff are very courteous, prompt and polite

Palak Patta Chat, introduced to me today by my daughter at M- Block Market GK-1, New Delhi , Just loved it!, and this preparation was as per her preference without the Dahi and Hari Chutney...I think it will also taste yummy with Dahi and Hari Chutney added.
