Mutton Dum biryani... Yummilicious 🥰😍

My customized Recipe:
No added colours

Ingredients-

Mutton 1/2 Kg.
Long grain basmati rice 3 cups
Curd 250gm
Onion Sliced/Chopped/grinded
Garlic 5-6 cloves grinded
Ginger paste
Coriander Powder/Leaves
Turmeric powder
Red Chilli Kuti/Powder
Garam Masala Powder
Black cardamom 5-6
Green Cardamom 3-4
Black pepper balls 9-10
Dalchini 2-3 sticks
Tez patta -3-4

Procedure-
Marinate Mutton:-
Pour curd in a bowl, add onion, ginger, garlic paste, coriander, turmeric, kuti red chilli, garam Masala Powder, Kuta garam Masala n salt. Mix it well. Add mutton pieces in it n keep aside for 3-4 hrs.

Rice preparation:-
In a vessel add water, add salt, oil, khada garam Masala n put it to boil. Add soaked rice in boiling water. Cook for 15 mins n rinse.

Fry sliced onion

As mutton cud b difficult to cook, I prefer frying the same marinated mutton in Desi ghee n add 1 cup water to give 2-3 whistles.

Let's go for layering now.

Grease the vessel with desi ghee, put the 1st layer of 3/4tg cooked mutton, layer fried onions n coriander leaves. Layer rice followed by find onion n coriander leaves. Then pour some Desi ghee.

Burn a charcoal, place it in a small bowl n pour a spoon of Desi ghee. Cover the lid on the vessel, seal it with aata. Simmer on low flame for 15-20 mins. Leave for Dum on closed flame for 10-15 mins.

Serve it hot.
