The .now trend is one we’ll happily hop on.

It took us back through a collection of logos and custom typefaces from our archives - each one shaped by the stories, ambitions, and identities behind the brands we’ve worked with.

A logo is often the last thing we design. Before the sketches, there’s research. Before the typography, there are conversations. Before the final mark, there’s an understanding of what makes a brand distinct.

Looking back at these logos is also a reminder of the many industries, ideas, and people we’ve had the privilege of working with over the years.

The .now trend reiterated something we’ve always believed: good design isn’t just seen. It’s understood.

It’s always interesting to work with a newer generation stepping into a family business. While the foundation remains rooted in carrying the business forward methodically, the perspective they bring to the brand is always refreshing to explore.

KMC was one such project for us. As a new generation took over, the vision was to reimagine the identity while still staying true to the essence of the business. We drew inspiration from aluminium sheets - a direct reflection of the industry itself - and translated that language subtly across the branding materials. The use of navy blue was intentional, bringing in a sense of boldness, strength, and reliability.

With industry-led identities like these, the approach of doing less but doing it impactfully has always proven effective. Subtle in ex*****on, yet distinctive enough to leave its mark.

OFam began with a simple, meaningful idea: to bring families closer to nature through the food they consume. At its core is a vision of a community that has access to pure, unadulterated foods - sourced responsibly and shared with complete transparency.

Our approach to their identity and packaging was guided by this philosophy. Every element was designed to communicate clarity and trust - clean, effective, and thoughtfully informative. We focused on decluttering the visual language, allowing the product and its story to stand out effortlessly.

Colour was used with intention, helping to clearly distinguish product categories while adding a sense of warmth and accessibility.

In recent times, branding and packaging have truly come into their own. From maximalism to nostalgia, refined elegance to old-school graphics - it’s incredibly reassuring to see brands investing deeply in how they present themselves.

Here are six of our absolute favourites - brands that are truly nailing their packaging. And the next time you visit their websites, don’t skip the blogs - the stories are just as beautiful.

— Think nostalgic tin boxes (the kind that actually hold cookies, not sewing kits), vintage illustrations, and a colour palette that transports you straight to your nani’s home - warm, familiar, and full of love.
