The journey from being a small town girl to being a part of one of the biggest conglomerate in Hospitality industry, never thought I would!
I am not a dreamer, not an ambitious person..i believe in today and creation. I still remember the day my father asked me what did I want to do..and I said I wanted to be a Chef, not knowing kitchen being a male dominating industry...but it's fun to be the minority..makes me feel special...! Feel like a "Queen"

“Be courageous. Challenge orthodoxy. Stand up for what you believe in. When you are in your rocking chair talking to your grandchildren many years from now, be sure you have a good story to tell.”

“World is an empty canvas, and we should paint it the way we wish to, make sure that it is as bright as possible.
My journey from a being management trainee to being the junior sous chef and now to being a restaurant owner has been exhilarating. My motive has always been to keep working on my skills personally despite the professional training. I remember I started my first business as a home baker when I was in school and since then I knew what I want to achieve. I have always been considered as the one who goes against the odds to achieve new heights. Despite the challenge today, I have some great people around me who are support me!”

Today, I am enjoying every moment of my professional career because it allows me to be who I am.

Soni, a chef who is working towards her dreams everyday. Let's hear about her journey in the hospitality industry.

I resonate to the above lines right from my heart. From my mother's kitchen to the fancy chef’s kitchen...it's been such a beautiful ride and I continue to enjoy it every moment. I relate my journey to being a young girl watching with gleaming eyes to what my mother used to cook to eventually finding myself clinging to my chef’s kit at IHM Bengaluru and jollying around in my college kitchen aspiring to be the best Chef.

To all the aspiring chefs: A dish is a complete orchestra for the nose eyes and ears and that's what makes food an experience. Following one specific cuisine is not the deciding light anymore, rather picking up an ingredient and cooking it as you like it to bring the best texture and flavors works for me. Spices and ingredients know no boundaries then why shall we?
