|| A cafe boutique led by self-help group of women || ❤️

An initiative by Tanuz Vocational Training society and located off Ballyguange Phari, close to Ballyguange Phari Auto stand , is a place which will win your heart with it's concept. 💯

What is it about !?

Rahee Tea Time stands tall out of the conventional. An initiative by Anuashree Malhotra , owner of a boutique that sells hand curated linens, sarees and presently engaging a group of women in manufacturing products like sitting mats, various artwork of jute, photoframes, handbags and even crafted pots, bottle and some unique pickels that will blow your mind. All these items are on display at this boutique and is sellable.

The place is 2 weeks old and their combined motive is to sell handmade items produced by the homemaker women who work to earn an independent living for themselves, as well as catering with some Bengali snacks to whoever visiting their rooftop cafe, a place minimalistic in it's decoration yet offering a
homely vibe.

As said, this place also serves delicious snacks that you can grab on while at your visit to this rooftop venture. We tried the typical Bengali ghugni and bread, Bengali style fish fry with kasundi, freshly made healthy sausages and sandwiches. To tell you the options of food here are minimal , but whatever they are serving is fresh and no doubt tasty, again prepared by the self-help group of women, working out there.

Apart from this, they are also training these group of women, catering to the needs of mothers who are in labour with protein supplies and is constantly working towards empowering the women who are mistreated and oppressed , bringing them out from the clutches of their home and helping them earn an independent living.

A cafe for a cause !? - Yes, that's Rahee Tea Time for you !!
