Oh ! How much we miss the garden , hills and our very own countryside, remembering the "regular" days of our factory area in the hills.
There , tea and specially hi tea (evening 4-5pm) is a really big occasion and we sincerely miss our fancy tea pots along the flowing river infront of the mighty Himalayas - for some a smoke time in solace , for kids returning homes from tuitions and mothers retiring after a tiring day of work. That's the regular planters life , the birds chirping and rustling of the leaves along with men doing their drill like chores - it's a sight ! And we surely miss this in city (Kolkata) , can't wait to go back !
I am sharing a very common hi tea snack served with tea (100% Darjeeling in my case) , which usually is served with home made potato crisps (absolutely paper thin) and tomato - cucumber sandwiches.
I will also be sharing some more interesting information and possibly pictorially make you feel the pulse of the garden factory estate all from the comfort of your home !
Also if you have any suggestions or want to know an interesting fact do comment below ..
Loads of love and major missing !
