HOPE CAFÉ

A quaint little Café tucked away in a quiet corner at 5/2/L Panditiya Road…. It is part of the Life Skills Training Centre run by Hope Kolkata Foundation, an NGO committed to the development of underprivileged and vulnerable members of Society. The special focus is on the well being of women and children by providing education, nutrition, healthcare and vocational training. Come try our

simple, affordable meals in an unbelievable ambience. Wind up every meal with a slice of freshly baked Chocolate Cake. Every meal you have at the Café will go a long way in helping us achieve our objectives…. Down the street you can visit our shop which sells clothes, jewelry and handicrafts produced on site by our trainees.

A group of 5 ladies from Kairos Arts, UK, conducted a wellness workshop for 26 trainees of the Beauty and Tailoring Skill Development Unit on 6th November, 2025 at the Life Skill Training Hall. It was a 2 hour workshop, conducted with joyous activities such as playing musical instruments, action songs, handicrafts with artificial clay, and decoration of small boxes with decorative ornaments, colourful papers and stickers. The students actively participated in the workshop and enjoyed themselves! Thank you Debbie , Cathy, Angela, Pam, Lou and last but not least Madhu for setting this up!
