OIL FREE MANGO PICKLE

Ingredients
1) 1kg green raw mangoes
2) 200 gm salt
3) 2tsp haldi (turmeric powder)
4) 11/2 tsp hing (asafoetida)
5) 50 gm red chilli powder
6) 100 gm rai (mustard seeds)
7) 30 gm methi seeds (fenugreek)
8) 50 gm saunf (fennel seeds )
9) 1 tsp kalonji (nigella seeds)

Steps

Take green raw mangoes ,wash them properly and dry them thoroughly.
Cut them in small pieces and put them in a jar.
Add salt and haldi and mix well.
Keep the jar in sunlight for 3 days.
After three days,drain out the water from the jar.
In a pan dry roast rai ,methi seeds and saunf.
Grind them in a mixie.
In this mixture add kaonji,chilli powder and hing.
Add this mixture in the jar.
Keep the jar in sunlight for another 3 days.
The pickle will be ready to eat after 3 days.
