Hi everyone,
I wanted to open up about something personal in hopes it might help someone going through a tough time. Back in August, I was diagnosed with PIVD (Pr*****ed Intervertebral Disc). It was a scary and painful experience—I could barely move without discomfort, and I was put on bed rest for a whole month. Being stuck in bed was frustrating, and I felt like I’d never get back to feeling like myself again.
But thankfully, I wasn’t alone in this journey. My trainer, Kush, was a huge support. He didn’t just understand what I was going through; he made sure to create a fitness plan that was gentle, realistic, and tailored to my needs. He was patient and always believed in me, even on days when I doubted myself.
I also worked with an amazing physiotherapist, Dr. Surbhi, who really listened to me and helped me through targeted therapy. Her care and expertise were such a game-changer, slowly but surely getting me back on my feet.
The road to recovery wasn’t easy—it took a lot of patience and trust in the process. But every small step, whether it was standing for longer periods or doing a light workout, felt like a huge victory. Today, I feel stronger and more hopeful than I ever thought possible.
If you’re dealing with PIVD or any other physical setback, please don’t lose hope. Surround yourself with people who understand what you’re going through and trust that even small progress is still progress. Healing takes time, but it is possible.
