Toyota Innovo Turbo Charger Breakdown within a week.

On 11th August,2022 we purchased a Innova Crysta 2.4G (MT) motor vehicle from Gargya Autocity Pvt Ltd, Guwahati, Assam bearing VIN No. MBJJB8EM801626214~0722, Engine No. 2GD A665892.

Upon driving the Car for 2 Days we observed that the Vehicle didn’t have the power to Swift Pickup or Acceleration. It took much time to gain a high Speed. So we decided to visit our nearest Toyota Service Center in Jorhat District, and service center people told us that as the vehicle is having some serious issues so they advised us to take it to Gargya Toyota Service Center, Guwahati.

On 18th August, 2022, We took vehicle to Gargya Toyota and they accepted our Concern and later doing Checkup and co-ordinating with TQM, found that by mistakenly a Screw has been found in the Turbo Engine which results in Turbo Fan Broken and Few particles had been entered into the Engine.

Now, The Dealer Gargya Toyota saying that they will replace the Turbo & Engine as it comes under warranty. But we will not accept this car until & Unless we get a Completely new Car.

We were completely taken by Faith from Gargya Toyota, and inspite we received a Manufacturing Defected Vehicle.

How Come a Screw should be found in The Brand New Turbo Engine??

While I do understand that manufacturing errors do happen, still I cannot comprehend the fact that the car was not tested before handover, I got the delivery after 10Kms showing in the odometer. This is not the type of product I would have expected from Toyota
