These creative lumaniries especially those from the Traditional Kashmiri Music scene got together to discuss the issues for artists in Kashmir, especially in terms of lack of physical spaces, broadcase media space, finances, infrastructure, patranoge, and problems with policy, lack of awareness even amongst those who make such policies; and what independent initiatives can be taken to tacle the issues. Hundreds of families are dependent on such creative professionals, and hundreds don't purse this dream or abandon halfway because they see no future in it, which in turn is leading to the decline in tradional practices like sufiana, poetry, handicrafts, traditional architecture, music, arts, theater, heritage and everything else that you call your culture your identity. Art is not just something that someone does, its who you are, who everyone is. Maybe that is why they say, Art is everything, and everything is Art.
