Mexican Rodeo, India's first mexican food truck is the brainchild of two friends Mohit Sethia and Murli Rungta. Mexican Rodeo has immediately won over customers and critics with the restaurant's Mexican flavors and fresh ingredients. We have opened up with a simple idea: demonstrate that food served fast didn't have to be a "fast-food" experience. We use high-quality raw ingredients, classic cooki

ng methods and distinctive truck design--features that are less frequently found in India. Today we are not competing in just any food category, we fall somewhere around a category called "fast-casual," the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry, where customers expect food quality that's more in line with full-service restaurants, coupled with the speed and convenience of fast food. Our focus has always been on using higher-quality ingredients and cooking techniques to make great food accessible to all people at reasonable prices. While using a variety of fresh ingredients remains the foundation of our menu, we believe that "fresh is not enough, anymore." Now we want to know the sources for all of our ingredients, so that we can be sure they are as flavorful as possible while we are mindful of the environmental and societal impact of our business. We call this idea, Food With Integrity, and it guides how we run our business.

Food Trucks have brought to Surat a fast, convenient and meals on the go culture, the latest to join the bandwagon is Tikke Shikke situated right opposite Ford Showroom on Piplod.

Tikke Shikke is not just another food truck, apart from being the first food truck to serve mouthwatering and authentic Tikke, which origins from all over the country, Tikke Shikke has brought some unique dishes to the menu as well.

A well-lit truck and a s**c and span kitchen made our experience quite pleasant. The dishes are pocket-friendly, making them the perfect evening snack.

Here's what we tried and definitely recommend:

Original Paneer Tikka: The Paneer Tikka served here is one of those dishes, which is irresistible and hard to say no to. The Paneer is soft and chewy and a generous spread of yummy chutneys. It's hard to share this one, we suggest you order two!

Kumbh Kebab: For people who are crazy about mushroom, this dish is the ultimate delicacy for you. It has a s**cy and smokey flavour and is served with mint chutney and onion slices.

Malai Chaap: We are a big fan of chaap and do not miss on trying it wherever we go. Malai Chaapp served here is creamy and mildly s**cy.

Veg Tawa Pulao: If you are really hungry, you must order Tawa Pulao, this s**cy and humongous dish is quite satiating. You won't need to order anything else.

Lahsuni Paneer Tikka: This yummy melt in the mouth dish is a showstopper and rightfully so. The Garlic here is deliciously overpowering.

Aloo Chutneywala: Forget Paneer or Soya, Aloo is equally appetizing. We tried this dish and fell in love with it. Devour the Aloo with different chutneys and masala, it's the ideal dish to order if you are in a mood to try something different.

Paneer Roll: Rolls are the best "meals to go" ever invented. It's a hearty meal in itself. Stuffed with fresh and tasty vegetables and served to us steaming hot.

Achari Chaap: If pickles are your weakness, we say go for Achari Chaap, and savour the sour and s**cy taste of pickle over toothsome and well-cooked paneer.

Pav Bhaji: This buttered delight is every Pav Bhaji fan's dream come true. Pav is cooked to perfection, with s**cy and bountiful Bhaji this dish is accompanied with salad.

Green Pav Bhaji: It's time to with Green Pav Bhaji. This dish is a famous Gujurati edition of Pav Bhaji and the Bhaji is a delightful combination of spinach, methi, green peas, capsicum, green tomatoes, all in one!

Afghani Chaap: This dish is juicy and s**cy with flavours oozing out. Each bite is a savoury delight.

Tikke Shikke is parked everyday from 6 pm to 11 pm. When are you trying it?
