Happy Pride, dearest, lovely people! 🥰🌈🦄 It’s both a happy and sad time of year for us, in that it’s so touching to see all the comments of love and support on the various social media posts that companies, organisations and individuals alike are putting up, and it fills our hearts with joy to see so many people sharing in the beauty of just being ourselves 🥰 But it’s also the one time of year when we, as part of the LGBTQ+ community, are confronted with the most hate, usually these days in the form of nasty or obnoxious comments on social media: puke emojis and angry-face reactions, accusations of being predators, repeatedly being told to get over ourselves and that 'no one needs to know about your s*x life' etc., and that, of course, what we’re doing is unbiblical and we’re going to Hell 🔥 You get the picture. And that’s only in liberal little Iceland, I’m not even talking about some of the horrific stuff we read online from elsewhere in the world. It’s so incredibly sad 💔 I keep telling myself how lucky we are to live in a country where we can live and love comparatively freely, but there’s always that loud, hateful minority who have to let it be known that despite all the positive changes we think we’ve made…we’re still disgusting. Insert puke-face emoji. So, yeah. There’s still a bit of a way to go. But we’re not going to change anyone’s opinion over night, so until then, all we can hope for is healthy communication from all sides, with love as the guiding light ⭐️ Preferably over a decent cup of coffee 😁❤️🌈☕️ And speaking of love…lots of it to you all! 🥰 David and Pálmar.

So…we tried everything we could regarding the evening openings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but it simply wasn’t manageable and we were closed more than we were open 😓 So we’ve made the difficult decision to stop opening evenings altogether. However, we're now open until 5pm every day apart from Mondays when we close, so hopefully that’ll be nice for some of you to be able to pop in for a coffee after work again, yay! 🥰 Sorry about this though, I know it’ll be a disappointment to some of you 😌❤️
