The Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige comes to Parkhotel Laurin with NUBU – Nahash Urban Brass Unit NUBU

Blending past and present, the ensemble combines rare historical instruments such as the serpent and flugabone with natural-skin percussion and double bass. In this archaic yet contemporary setting, the human voice becomes a free and expressive instrument, unfolding through calls, vocal experimentation and improvisation.

The result is a unique musical language—a timeless synthesis of jazz, folk and free improvisation.

What to do in Bolzano -
Starting today, the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige brings the sound of international jazz to Bolzano and across South Tyrol.
From June 26 to July 5, the festival offers a rich and wide-ranging programme, combining contemporary jazz, historic venues and unique natural settings.
We have selected a few special highlights that may be particularly interesting for our guests: NUBU here at Parkhotel Laurin, Felix Hauptmann – Percussion, the powerful energy of Gard Nilssen’s Supersonic Orchestra at NOI Techpark, the Sheen Trio by the lake on the Renon, and Brazilian Motions surrounded by the mountains of Monteneve.
A festival that perfectly reflects the spirit of Bolzano: international, elegant, cultural and deeply connected to its territory.
