Some people order a glass of wine to go with their meal.
Then there are the ones who take the first sip and realize… the food is actually going with the wine.
At Buatta, wine isn’t there just to fill your glass.
It’s there to slow the evening down, stretch out a good conversation, and give you one more excuse to order “just one last glass”… even though it never really is the last.

E poi c'è chi, dopo il primo sorso, capisce che il piatto sta accompagnando il vino.
Da Buatta il vino non serve a riempire il bicchiere.
Serve a rallentare la serata, allungare una chiacchiera e darti una scusa in più per ordinare "l'ultimo"... che tanto ultimo non è mai.

Perché da Buatta gli ingredienti non si scelgono perché ad occhio svelto sembrano buoni, si studiano bene e si scelgono perché sanno fare il loro lavoro.
Il resto può stare tranquillamente sullo scaffale.

Giorgio and Ciccio in the kitchen are proof that, every now and then, chaos works just fine.
One tastes everything.
The other does too… “just to be sure.”
One says, “That’s enough.”
The other adds a little more.
They tease each other, steal bites off each other’s plates, and argue over details nobody will ever notice.
Then the dish goes out, and somehow… they were both right.
At Buatta, the kitchen is serious.
The people working in it… not so much.

Giorgio e Ciccio in cucina sono la prova che il caos, ogni tanto, funziona benissimo.
Uno assaggia tutto.
L’altro pure, ma “per sicurezza”.
Uno dice “basta così”.
L’altro aggiunge ancora qualcosa.
Si punzecchiano, si rubano forchettate, discutono su dettagli che nessuno vedrà mai.
Poi esce il piatto e improvvisamente hanno ragione tutti e due.
Da Buatta la cucina è seria.

At Buatta, we do things properly.
Not “quickly”, not “more or less”, not “ah, that’ll do”.
Everything gets tasted, checked, and even redone when it already looked right.
Because in the kitchen there’s one simple rule: if a wrong dish goes out… then someone has to deal with Dina.
And honestly, nobody wants to find out what that means.
So yes, we’re meticulous.
But at least you can eat with peace of mind.

Come eat the way you’re supposed to.

Da Buatta le cose si fanno bene.
Non “veloci”, non “più o meno”, non “vabbè va”!
Si assaggia tutto, si controlla tutto, si rifà pure quello che sembrava già giusto.
Perché in cucina c’è una regola semplice: se esce un piatto sbagliato, poi chi la sente Dina.
E sinceramente, nessuno ha voglia di scoprirlo.
Quindi sì, siamo meticolosi.

E no, non abbiamo messo “due cosine nuove” tanto per fare scena.
Ci sono piatti che entrano piano e poi si fanno ricordare subito, altri che sembrano tranquilli finché non arriva il primo boccone e cambia tutto.
Sapori più decisi, combinazioni che funzionano davvero e quella solita cattiva abitudine che abbiamo in cucina: non lasciare uscire nessun piatto se non rispecchia i nostri standard (sì, lo sappiamo, forse siamo troppo perfezionisti, ma che ci possiamo fare?!)
Il problema più che altro sarà vostro: perché sarà difficile scegliere 😎​

Però tranquilli, da Buatta non si sbaglia mai.
Al massimo si ordina troppo.

The tuna lands on the table the way some people walk into a room: no introduction needed.
Seared on the outside, tender on the inside, with the kind of character that doesn’t need any special effects to get noticed.

It’s not the classic dish you order to feel light and at peace with yourself.
It’s the one you go for when you want to eat seriously well.
At Buatta, even the fish has personality.
And honestly, thank goodness for that.

Il tonno arriva al tavolo come certa gente entra in una stanza: senza bisogno di presentazioni.
Scottato fuori, morbido dentro, con quel carattere che non ha bisogno di effetti speciali per farsi notare.
Non è il classico piatto che ordini per sentirti leggero e in pace con te stesso.
È quello che prendi quando vuoi mangiare bene sul serio.

Da Buatta anche il pesce ha personalità.
E sinceramente…meno male!
