It's Friday and we've got another fresh lineup ready for the weekend. One of our favorites from last season, Finland's .coffee , is back with a sweet selection of washed coffees from Colombia and Ethiopia. For something slightly more funky and fruity we've got some solid options from and , including the famed Mzungu Project coffee from Uganda and maybe the first Peruvian natural processed coffee we've had on the shelf.

Honestly there's too many options to list so just roll through and we'll help you select something nice to brew at home this weekend!

Stop by for a pour over this week and you'll be rewarded with your choice of some truly rare coffees from Rotterdam's . Both the Aramosa and Java coffees described below are available from today and the Gesha will be available in Espresso in very limited quantities from next week.

Aramosa is one of the unique varieties grown at Daterra Farms in Brazil. It’s a rare coffee that is a hybrid of Coffea Arabica (Typica) and Coffea Racemosa, a heirloom species. Aramosa is unique in that it has a lower caffeine content than typical Arabica varieties. In the cup we find it has a complex flavour profile with candy-like sweetness, notes of cocoa, and a finish of oolong tea.

The Java lot was produced by Elias and Shady Bayter at their farm, El Vergel. Java is a rare variety in Colombia, and it is part of a micro-lot on the estate that has been one of the most exotic. The coffee is processed using an innovative method of extended cooled-down-anaerobic fermentation that involves using water to regulate the temperature during fermentation. The resulting flavour is clean, juicy, and complex, with a silky mouth feel.

We're looking for full-time and casual part-time staff members to work at our Porta Venezia cafe starting in May. You don’t need to have experience as a barista but we are looking for someone who has some knowledge of specialty coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.

The ideal candidates will be based in Milan or nearby, have experience working under pressure in a busy hospitality environment, and have good knowledge of both Italian and English (at least B1+).
