Guess who stopped by SULLALUNA this afternoon?

🏄 The brilliant 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐒 — illustrator from San Francisco and musician with The Matches (we seriously can’t wait to catch them live next time they perform in NYC!).

Together with Lauren, we spent the afternoon cruising through the Venetian lagoon by boat — from the Canal Grande to the Guggenheim Museum, to the Biennale, and back to Fondamenta della Misericordia, just in time for sunset.

✨ After visiting the remarkable exhibition dedicated to 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐘 at the Society of Illustrators in New York, we brought back to Venice the new 2026 calendar along with a selection of his marvelous books.
𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐘 was a singular and unmistakable artist—illustrator, writer, and set and costume designer—whose work blends dark humor, elegance, and a timeless, gently macabre imagination. His drawings and stories continue to enchant readers of all ages, balancing wit and melancholy with extraordinary grace.
In Italy, some of his titles are published by Adelphi.
