“The dinner we had at the Zimbali Culinary Retreat was the highlight of my family’s trip to Jamaica. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with welcome drinks and a hypnotic drum ensemble we all loved. We then toured the beautiful farm, giving us a deeper appreciation of where we were and what we were about to eat. And then for the meal - even having been to Jamaica several times before, I think this was the best Jamaican meal I’ve ever had. Each course felt like we were eating at a Michelin star restaurant with such close attention to detail. Chef Alecia is a master of her craft. My favorite course was the pumpkin soup. The setting is also perfect. The property is beautiful, tucked away in the mountains about 45 minutes from Negril. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a special and unique meal near Negril.”
