Dear valued customers, suppliers, local business partners, and staff members,
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the years. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of KAMIMURA, effective April 4th, 2025.
What began as a small restaurant in Sapporo, seating only 12 guests, eventually brought us to the mountains of Niseko, where we've had the privilege of serving you for the past 18 years. It has been a long and fulfilling journey, and every visit, conversation, and smile has played a vital role in our story.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of such a wonderful community, and we deeply appreciate your loyalty and support. Most importantly, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such an amazing team. The passion and dedication of every staff member, past and present, made KAMIMURA what it was, and we feel blessed to have shared this journey with them.
The decision to close was not made lightly, but we believe it is the best choice for the next 20 years, ensuring that we can continue in the restaurant business together in good health and with passion. After reflecting on our journey, we feel this is the right time for us to take the next step toward growth and to continue offering you the best of what we love.
With just a short time remaining, we are truly happy to continue welcoming you until the very end. We will cherish every moment together and strive to provide even more wonderful experiences for you in the time we have left.
Although we are closing this location, we are excited to continue welcoming guests at our sister restaurant, KITCHEN, where we will continue to share our love for food and service.
To all our loyal customers, suppliers, local partners, and staff from around the world—thank you for being an essential part of our journey. We will always cherish the memories we've created together and are deeply grateful for your trust and support.
