Hello to you fellow bongs,

After being there and doing that, I am pleased to announce i’m back in business (kind of).

I will be the executive chef of the new Deli’s in Kep.

So it’s not my restaurant but it will be our menu and it’s not in Kampot it’s in Kep, same, same but different.

Soft opening: September 2023

Happy New Year, B Rabbit in the place.

Thanks you for those last days.
Yesterday evening was a proper Saturday, everybody showed up by 5 and we were gone and done for by 7, brilliant!

We were expecting to close by the end of the month, the plan was to stock up before Chinese New Year and ride with whatever’s left until the end of said month.

However the Man came by the restaurant on Tuesday to warn us about our license being expired and then came back on Thursday to remind us we had to start walking the line.

Long story short, today (Sunday) is our last day, we have a very limited menu, for only a few items remains but we’ll be on guard and waiting for you guys one last time.

Ciao Kampot,

Back by popular demand, the last chef’s special shall be chicken thighs marinated and braised in french cider with caramelized onions and crème fraîche, comes with green peas, celery and potatoes (fried, roasted or mashed).

Last week end before we close and go back to the Penh, main courses available on the menu as of now:
-Pork « Marengo »
-Fish « Moqueca »
-Seafood plate (cuttle fish, squid, shrimp, clams)
-Tuna or Salmon gravlax tartare
-Flemish « Carbonnade »
-Smoked duck « Bourguignon »

Of course all our pasta dish are available too and the wine menu has been heavily discounted.

Come and get your fix.

Ciao Kampot,

Due to a funeral on our side of the street, we will be exceptionally closed tonight (17th).

We shall be back Thursday, with probably our last special before we close permanently in Kampot.

I don’t have a precise date yet for we are in the process of emptying the fridges, but giving there is Chinese New Year this week-end, we’ll probably have to close after that.

Pork Marengo. 7,5$

A few more "specials" before we close.

Pork shoulder slowly cooked with green olives, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms and white wine, served with potatoes.

According to a popular myth, the dish was first made after Napoleon defeated the Austrian army at the Battle of Marengo at Marengo south of Turin, Italy, when his chef Dunand foraged in the town for ingredients (because the supply wagons were too distant) and created the dish from what he could gather.

According to this legend, Napoleon enjoyed the dish so much he had it served to him after every battle, and when Durand was later better-supplied and substituted mushrooms for crayfish and added wine to the recipe, Napoleon refused to accept it, believing that a change would bring him bad luck.

Slow cooked pork spareribs smothered in homemade peanut and black sesame butter as well as balsamic glaze, comes with roasted potatoes and organic toothpicks.

Happy New Year Kampot,

We are open today (1st), we are still licking our wounds from yesterday so bear with us.

We shall be close on Tuesday (3rd), to take an extra day off and recharge batteries.
