Hello Everyone!!!
We continue to get a few emails/messages from friends and potential customers about where we would recommend since our restaurant is now closed. We would like to share some of our favorite places to dine in Sen Monorom:
1. The Hangout - a wonderful place only 100 meters or so from our old location. They serve a nice mix of Khmer and western food and are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable and the woman who runs it is very friendly. My favorite dish is the chicken parmie!
2. Pizza Mondulkiri - in our opinion the best pizzas in town. They offer more than a dozen pizza options, many unique, and are generous with the toppings. They have a nice balcony to sit on which overlooks the bungalows below the restaurant.
3. Manel Guesthouse & Restaurant - this small family run restaurant offers some Bunong soups that are very nice. If you are interested in trying some Mondulkiri indigenous food stop by here. It is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to this location on the edge of town.
4. Cambo Catch Pub - a new place to stop by for a nightcap! A friendly owner and they have darts, board games and music late into the evening. Worth stopping by as there is minimal nightlife in Sen Monorom. It is located diagonally across from The Hangout.
