We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear Jameel today. He was having lunch near his home when the building he was in was struck.

Jameel was the strong, silent type—always kind and gentle, extremely diligent, and often full of humor. He was a pleasure to work with and will not be forgotten.

Our hearts go out to Brahim, Tayseer, Abdelkader, and his family. At Jaï, we considered Jameel family, and we mourn him deeply.

بقلوب حزينة، مننعى زميلنا الغالي جميل اللي توفّى اليوم. كان عم يتغدّى قريب من بيته لما ضرب المبنى اللي كان فيه.

جميل كان من النوع الهادي والقوي، طيب وحنون، مجتهد،و لطيف. كان الشغل معه متعة، ورح يضل ببالنا وما رح ننساه.

قلوبنا مع إبراهيم، وتيسير، وعبد القادر، ومع عيلته بهالوقت الصعب. نحنا بـ"جاي" كنا نعتبر جميل واحد من العيلة، وحزننا عليه كبير.
