Since 2012, Lappa Lounge Bar is one of Old Jounieh’s biggest and trendiest venues — a simple yet elegant lounge Bar attracting a crowd of young and vibrant pub lovers.
”Our plan was to have an intimate and very cool bar for people to visit any day of the week,” says Georges Semaan, owner of Lappa Lounge Bar. “We aimed to create a setting that with its typical vibe provides all the ropes and the
trendiness.”
The result is a Brazilian style lounge. Upon entering, you’ll find a row of seats to your left and multiple booths to your right. A long bar fills out the room, all of this is chilled by multiple ceiling fans to provide you with a comfortable atmosphere. The warm vibe is further enhanced by the brown wooden decorations and the dazzling lighting illuminating the room.
“It’s one of the best places I’ve come across in a long time,” says the resident DJ Booz. “You’re just instantly comfortable. And on the nights I’m working, I’m inspired by the requests I get, because the crowd at Lappa Lounge Bar has great musical knowledge. I spin everything from Brazilian, glam rock to house music and the great requests from the crowd.”
