Its one of the main dishes that is served during Eid Ul-Fitr usually along with ketupat (rice cube wrap in coconut leaves)or lemang (bamboo rice)🍵🍽

It's so good to be back home! Nothing beats the good feeling of having different kind of food you grew up with. Pictured is beef and chicken satay- Strips of skewered, grilled meat eaten with a fragrant dipping sauce (peanut sauce). In Malaysia these little flame-seared morsels are a popular and affordable street snack enjoyed at all hours of the day and night. And yes it's almost 1 a.m when we had this last night!😋😋
