For 3 unforgettable days — 12th, 13th & 14th — the Tuana & Mila family stepped away from work and created memories together. ❤️

Our journey started with a visit to Kataragama, where we took blessings for the future success, happiness, and strength of both our staff and owners. After breakfast, we headed straight to Ella, exploring some of the world-famous places there, laughing, relaxing, and enjoying every moment together before continuing our trip to beautiful Nuwara Eliya.

After checking into the hotel and taking some time to relax, we spent the evening together over dinner and good conversations. Even though we are two different restaurants, we are truly one family. Trips like this happen only once a year, and they give all of us the chance to connect beyond work, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company in a different way.

On the second day, after breakfast, we visited the New Zealand Farm — one of the farms that produces many of the dairy products used in our restaurants. We wanted our staff to experience and understand where some of our quality ingredients come from, giving them not only memories but knowledge too.

After that, we explored Nuwara Eliya city, enjoyed lunch together, and spent the evening at Gregory Lake before returning to the hotel for our second and final night celebration. Some of our closest friends joined us that night too — the people who stood beside us throughout the season, supporting us and helping us during our busiest times. We could never forget them, and we are truly grateful for every bit of love and support they gave us.

On our final morning, we checked out and made a few more stops on our way back to Mirissa, making sure to enjoy every last moment of this beautiful journey together.

After such a hard-working high season, this trip was our way of saying THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Tuana & Mila what they are today. First, a huge thank you to our boss for organizing such an incredible and unforgettable trip for all of us. And to our amazing staff and close friends — thank you for being part of this journey, for being our strength, and for growing together with us. 🙏🏾
