Before modern food trends, Malta had its own classics. 🇲🇹✨

Bragioli is one of those dishes that connects us to the past. Born from the tradition of making simple ingredients special, Maltese families have been preparing this slow-cooked beef dish for generations.

Every roll is filled with the flavours of home — a reminder of village kitchens, family gatherings, and the recipes handed down from grandparents.

Because local food is not just about eating… it’s about keeping a story alive. ❤️🍷

🐷 Grandma would ask, “Have you eaten enough?”
Our answer? “One more slice, please!” 😄

Our traditional Gozitan suckling pig is roasted slowly with care, just like it has been for generations. Crispy skin, tender meat, and the kind of comfort food that makes every meal feel like Sunday at nanna’s house.

Good food. Good company. Great memories. ❤️🇲🇹

🐌 Bebbux: Malta’s original “slow food.” 🇲🇹😂

You came to Malta for the beaches… and somehow ended up eating snails.

Before you say “No way!”—hear me out.

🐌 Bebbux (Maltese snails) have been on local tables for generations. After the first autumn rains, they’re traditionally collected, carefully cleaned, and then slow-cooked in a rich tomato sauce with garlic, herbs, and a splash of wine or ale. The result? Surprisingly delicious. 🍅🧄

Fun facts:
🐌 They’re probably the only locals who don’t mind crossing the road.
🍞 The sauce is so good that leaving bread behind should be considered a crime.
⏳ They take life slowly… and they also take a while to cook. Coincidence? Probably not.
🇲🇹 In Malta, trying bebbux is practically a foodie rite of passage.
😅 Most people come with doubts… and leave asking for more bread.

Would you try them, or are snails staying firmly on your “absolutely not” list?
