Heard a gentle crack of unwavering cheesy goodness in my oven this afternoon!
One momma is having a tea party for a bunch of beautiful 8 year old ladies today & wanted deliciously golden fluffy scones and here we are!
Golden with a light crisp on the outside and cheesy fluffy goodness and a flaky bottom 🄺
Those came out so good! And shame I didn’t make enough for the team šŸ™„šŸ„ŗ
I hope y’all drooling over this! Because THIS here is a complete melt in the mouth šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘€ā¤ļø

I really don’t know about you but I am a BIG , huge , drooling all over the place fan of Caramel!
Salted or Unsalted but this time, we managed to make Raspberry Caramel!
An all time favorite oozy gooey goodness you can use as cupcake fillings, cake fillings, on macaron, between jammie dodgers, over pancakes or even to go with gorgeously plain scones & clotted cream.
It really has the jammy texture , that of a smooth silky jam but don’t be mistaken, That’s just Caramel! 🧁
P.S : We be selling them in jars for all of our other baker friends that want to use them in their cakes šŸ¤—

C&c Street decides to give away free recipes!
Because let’s be honest, sometimes all you want is get your whisk and apron and bake something from scratch like your mama or grandma did and show the baking adventure to the kids!
So here we are, the ultimate twisted marble cake with amazing chunks of chocolate goodness in every bites.
All you need is:
125g of butter
200g of sugar
3 large free-range eggs
6 tbsp of whole milk
250g of self-raising flour
1 packet 7g of baking powder (I used Vahiné) or you can use 3-4 tsp of baking powder.
30g of unsweetened cocoa powder.
1 vanilla pod.
Any chocolate bar of your choice!
Steps:
- Melt your butter.
- Beat sugar & butter until a creamy texture.
- Mix in your raising agents with flour & add on the flour mixture in two parts to your butter mix.
- Add your milk, it will thicken to a cakey consistency.
- Separate the batter into two equal portions.
- Add the cocoa powder to one of the mixture.
- Make an incision to your vanilla pod, remove the grainy insides & add to the 2nd mixture without forgetting to add the chunks of chocolate to the top of your batter!
- Playfully place both batter in cake tin and bake at 170 degrees C for 30 to 45 mins until a skewer comes out clean!
P.S : However tempting, please wait until the cake is fully cooled to taste šŸ˜… Enjoy ā¤ļø

While we’re at it!
We’ve decided to give you sneak peeks of the different products we use and Today is Beet Juice šŸ˜
Did you know, using natural food coloring in your cakes makes them healthier more sustainable and earth friendly! In our red velvets, we try to use a maximum of this Concentrated Beet juice for a natural vibrant color! While sometimes the chemicals in artificial food coloring works magic, we prefer a lesser tone of red but sometimes a deeper one with natural fireworks of Beetroot and no, it doesn’t change the taste šŸ™ƒ
Until having a red velvet order, I’m gonna have a smoothie with that! Healthy you say? Lol, this is cake health I’d say! šŸ°

Oh helloooooo,
We’ve promised you British Bake Off in Mauritius and here we are!
Our first order of the rich chocolate bunt cake without coconut!
Besides the cake, what’s looking great is our untamed, 12 hour baking/cooking with 2 hours traveling to get your milk and make fresh clotted cream!
Our client’s suggestion that we sell them in jars accompanied by home made salted caramel she tasted!
And we’ll surely do once we’re set with our wholesaler but until our next bake, relish this one, we’ve had fun starting, and are waiting for your British , Gluten free and vegan tastebuds to order with us!
