Good Thursday morning!

As I have posted in the past, I live in the country east of Chapala. Last evening we got some wind but no rain. Then I read about the bug storm in Ajijic, it's incredible how different the weather can be yet we're only, 20 kms away!

What a great day to enjoy our shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup.

Mochi muffins are our dessert for today, mango, coconut and red bean paste.

Just finished shopping at the tianguis. It's rather quiet there today. And, quite a few vendors are away also. What's going on? 🤔

No soup special on Tuesdays but we have Din Sum. Shrimp dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns and rice flour crepes, what's your favorite? Mine are all of the above!

Good Monday morning!

What a beautiful day. Cool breeze and light showers this morning certainly made for a refreshing start to the day. I see forecasts for more rain for the next few days. This doesn't signal the start of the rainy season, that starts mid June.

Papaya loaf (similar to banana loaf but with papaya instead). If you haven't tried it, it's very moist and yummy.
