Good evening fb friends! For the first time,this year Taqueria La Tejana will host its first Galentines brunch! This will be be a buffet style brunch with many options to choose from. Breakfast foods and tacos. This is a ladys only event to celebrate with the girls.. plenty of food,treats and surprises! You know la tejana wont dissapoint . If we have enough interested we will host thursday February 12 and friday February 13 at 10 am that depends on how many people show interest. Buenas noches! Este año taqueria la tejana tendrá su primer Galentines y para celebrar estamos haciendo tipo brunch buffet.. que es el brunch? Es desayuno y almuerzo un poquito de los 2 mundos.. El Galentines es solo para mujeres y se celebra la amistad el emprendiendo y apollo entre mujeres. Asi que envíten a sus amigas para este evento. Good day fb friends! Seems like the cold front is coming thru so wnjoy this cool weather! This week Taqueria La Tejana will open everyday until next Monday so if your looking for a good dinner spot come on thru!

🎉Important news! We Taqueria La Tejana will take a couple of days off this week after working 20 days straight for the holidays. We will be off starting tuesday jan 6 thru Jan.9. We will resume on Saturday jan
10th. Tonight we open at 4:30 so swing by and try our specialty pizzas or texas bbq

So when people wonder why Taqueria La Tejana prices are a little higher than some places... Here you go...

12/30 3/4am start cleaning cutting and maranating all meats
7:30am start up the pitt
10:30 am start cooking
10:40 start washing and kitchen clean up all materials used to marinate.
Every hour or so feed the wood box and check temps on the meats.
12noon start preparing dough to be rolled out for pizzas..
1:30pm start working on our baked potatoes so they can be ready by 3:30/4.
2:15pm Start up the bbq pitt to throw our arrachera and start grilling
2:45/4:30 grilling arrachera,and grilled pork
4:35 start working on our first holiday packages to be picked up at 5.
From then on working orders still checking on the wood box and meat temperatures
10:30pm- last customer and were starving..
11:30pm second batch of pizza dough being prepared for the next day.
12:30 am Still have not finished smoking all our meats.
12:30am first batch of jalapeño poppers go on for early pick up order.
1:24am and we're still working,jalapeños not done yet and meats are still smoking..
1:50 am and im making this post about to go bathe and relax a bitt and try to get a couple of hours of sleep.

So there you go folks. You get what you pay for. Juicy tender, smoked meats.
Lots of time and energy goes into every thing we do here to be able to give you the best service and food possible. Every time we get a thank you,a good review or even just a smile,it pushes us a little more to keep going another day. Thank you..
