LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
Hola Amigxs! ☀️
As some of you might know, 4 years ago, I decided to make my dreams come true and bought an amazing piece of land in Agua Blanca (30 minutes from Puerto Escondido, Mexico). The dream is to build a cultural-holistic center and a home for .labelga cuisine. And today, I’m finally ready to start the construction. I’m sooooo excited about this and I need you to make it happen !
To complete a team of local construction workers, I’m looking for motivated persons with manual skills. 💪
📅FROM FEBRUARY TO MAY 2023, the goal is to build a 2 levels palapa (local type of roof made of palm leafs), an open-air bamboo shower, a dry toilet and maybe a big outdoor pizza/bread oven.
You must have knowledge/experiences in woodwork or masonry, and having skills in eco-construction is a plus!
In exchange of your work (5h/day , 5 days a week) I will provide you food and accommodation. You will be staying in a tent in a small hostel called « Casa colibri », located 300 meters from the beach (literally 5 minutes walking). A super nice spot (big pool, good wifi, ping pong table, big open-air shared kitchen) where you’ll feel like home as we are living, cooking and eating together as a family.
