Please take a look at our course menu for July. We have added some interesting food combinations this month:

• Mentaiko & egg: the strong taste of Mentaiko encased in a super fluffy and airy egg. Paired with aosa seaweed sauce for the aroma of the ocean.

• Kudzu manju: Filled with umami packed crab and sweet corn. We knead it over the fire for at least 30 minutes to create the kudzu jelly texture. Please enjoy it with our signature Dashi.

• Stewed pork belly: a take on classic Japanese dish "kakuni", we have stewed the pork belly for hours. The figs give a sweet and sour contrast to the fattiness of the pork. Paired with a rich red wine sauce and smooth mashed potato.

We would like to introduce to you this month's course.
This month, we have created a menu with unique and interesting food combos such as "Stewed pork belly with figs" & "Fluffy egg stuffed with mentaiko".
We will also be stocking Ayu (sweet fish) this month so please enjoy the delicious grilled ayu and comforting Ayu hotpot rice as well!

Thank you for your continued support. We would like to inform you regarding this months course menu. "Grilled seabass with water pepper and rice sauce".

We carefully hand pick the seabass one by one from the chow kit market. Since the local seabass is less fatty than in Japan, we have decided to pan fry it to make it juicy.

The pairing sauce is based on "okayu (porridge)", made by simmering rice in our homemade Dashi.
To that, we add "Tadezu", an essential ingredient in the early summer of Japan.
It is a condiment that we can't help but use around this time of the year. When combined with the sweetness of rice, it creates a perfect refreshing taste.

Please enjoy the fragrant fried burdock and leek put on top as an accent.

I would like to inform you regarding this months course.

🍤Conger eel and Fresh figs tempura

The main ingredient, Conger eel, is sourced from a trusted fish monger at the market I have been frequenting for the past 10 years. He understands the exact size I prefer and the freshness is exceptional. Each piece is carefully cut and deboned to ensure a perfect finish.

To accompany the Conger eels, we have 'Fresh figs Tempura' from Malaysia. It is a hidden specialty that can be harvested year-round here in Malaysia. Cooking them helps to bring out their sweetness and rich flavour with a melty texture.

Enjoy this combination with our delicious tempura broth and plenty of refreshing grated daikon radish.

【An introduction to our June course menu】

Thank you for your continued patronage to Yoshinari Restaurants.

As we enter the summer season, Kuala Lumpur is as hot and humid as always. How are you all doing? This month, we have prepared refreshing dishes that will give you a taste of an early summer in Japan.

This month's Sashimi dish will feature "Honmaguro Chuutoro (Semi-fatty bluefin tuna)". Served below the bluefin tuna will be our homemade "Yoro tofu (Yam tofu)" another delicacy made from grated Chinese mountain yam. The umami from the tuna, mixed with the crunchiness of the yam creates a perfect blend, resembling the popular "yamakake" style.
For the meal, we will be serving homemade Soba noodles.

We also have additional ala carte menu items that signs the start of summer such as "grilled ayu fish" & "Hokkaido hairy crab (requires reservation)".
