Dear friends and supporters,

After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our board game cafe, with our last day of operation on Sunday, 29 June 2025.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has visited, supported, played, laughed, and connected with us over the years. Your presence has made Tapir Boardgame Cafe more than just a cafe — it became a space for community, discovery, and joy.

🙏 Thank you for believing in our little dream of introducing the world of board games to the community.

Although the cafe is closing, this is not the end of our board game journey. We’ll continue to be active in organizing board game events, workshops, and collaborations in the future — just in different forms and spaces. So stay connected with us here for future updates!

We will be closed from 27th to 31st January 2025 for the Chinese New Year holidays. We will be open on 1st and 2nd February 2025, 2pm - 10pm.

Looking for a way to keep your kids entertained while you enjoy some well-deserved me time? Tapir Boardgame Cafe, in collaboration with Bukutani, is hosting a special Board Game Fun Session for primary school students aged 7-12!

This program will be conducted primarily in Mandarin, giving children an exciting and educational opportunity to explore the world of board games.

Program Details:

Date: 25 January 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Venue: Tapir Boardgame Cafe
Fee: RM 40 per child
Slots: Limited to 15 participants
Age Group: 7-12 years old
