Our Chicken Chop starts before it even reaches the kitchen. We use local pineapple-fed chicken — a farming method that produces meat that is naturally more tender, more juicy, and genuinely more flavourful than standard chicken. You taste the difference before you're even told about it.

Last Saturday, JDV was full of a different kind of energy.
Twenty-something women walked in. By the time they left, something had shifted — in the room, and in each of them.
We had the privilege of collaborating with Grace Tan from Stories.my and Oasis Comma for The Real You in Focus — a workshop where women came together not to network, not to sell, not to perform. Just to reconnect with themselves.

That laughter isn't polite laughter. That joy isn't staged. These are women who spent an afternoon being real with each other — and discovered they weren't alone in what they carry.
JDV has always believed that a café can be more than a place to eat. It can be a place where important conversations happen. Where people leave feeling more like themselves than when they walked in.
