Dairy of a Chef.

I asked for a plate of food,
And this Chef comes to make a fool out of me,
Screams my African Spirit,

Just rob me of my money already,
And send me out of hungry,
I replied angrily,

Oh! What do you mean Sir?
I didn't mean to offend you,
Then why give me a rose instead of a meal I replied,

Oh! We apologize but you have enough soup to satisfy you all through,
I'm African he replied,
I can eat a bowl of swallow with a pinch of soup

Don't change the narrative for me he Insisted,
I asked for food not something to use for a proposal,
Why give me a Rose?

Apologies Sir! The Chef replies
I know you're not here for a proposal,
But we eat with our eyes as much as our mouth,

Inclusively, the Swallow is a side to accompany the soup which is the main meal,
But you can always give you an extra serving of the side,
He sat and thought for a while as if to consider,

And the African Man in him beams,
His stomach growls and fear varnished,
He settles to eat and goes ahead to ask for his bills,

Asks for the personal details for the Chef,
Because in his very own words,
He'll like for his family to experience the same thing he experienced while out eating.

PS: This Plating something is not for everybody, as in every client 😁
