Today's experience with the butcher!

I actually told my butcher to wash the goat on the wooden slab, but he removed it and placed it on the block / floor, close to the drainage.

He claimed it's better and faster that way since he claimed he already cleaned the block, but sincerely I don't feel comfortable with it. The floor harbours germs and dirt, and this is meat we are going to consume.

Butchers really need to embrace more hygienic practices. A raised, clean, washable slab or stainless table is still the best.

Food safety should not be compromised. What do you think?
